‘Botched’ Renewed For Season 3 By E!

Ahead of the Season 2 midseason finale of Botched on July 12, E! Entertainment has renewed the breakout hit plastic surgery reality series for a third season to premiere in Q1 2016.

Botched‘s current second season is averaging 863K in adults 18-49 and 1.5 million total viewers in Live+3, recently hitting season highs with the June 14 episode (1.1M A18-49 and 1.8M total viewers). The series, from Evolution Media, also was among the main drivers, along with Keeping Up With The Kardashains, behind E!’s across-the-board Q2 ratings growth in primetime, including +29% A18-49 (348) and +25% P2+ (598).

Tapping into the plastic surgery pop culture obsession, Botched follows known plastic surgeons Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif as they fix extreme plastic surgeries gone awry. The eight-episode second part of the show’s second season will air in the fall.

Botched not only delivers on the pursuit of perfection phenomenon, but also inspires viewers with heartwarming stories as Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif transform patients’ lives.” said Jeff Olde, EVP, Programming and Development, E!

Some of the extreme cases featured on the first two seasons of Botched included a woman suffering from complications due to black market injections in her face and fixing “uniboobs.” The July 12th mid-season finale will feature reality TV  personality Farrah Abraham, who has come to see the doctors about her lips, and a man whose doctor left a permanent thumbprint on his nose.

Botched is executive produced by with Douglas Ross, Gregory B. Stewart, Alex Baskin and Matt Westmore. Dr. Terry Dubrow, Dr. Paul Nassif and Robert Carroll serve as Co-Executive Producers.
