Ron Yuan Joins Netflix’s ‘Marco Polo’; Jolene Purdy In ‘Orange Is The New Black’

Ron Yuan (Fast & Furious) has joined the cast of Netflix drama Marco Polo as a series regular. Based on the famed 13th Century explorer, the story follow’s Marco Polo’s (Lorenzo Richelmy) adventures, as he fights greed, betrayal and rivalries in Kublai Khan’s court. Yuan will play Prince Nayan in the second season. Yuan appeared inĀ Sons Of Anarchy and most recently in The Blacklist. He will next be seen in Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day 2 and Gavin O’Connor’s The Accountant with Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick. He is repped by Greene & Associates and East West Artists.

Jolene Purdy (Under The Dome) has booked a recurring role in the upcoming fourth season of Netflix/Lionsgate TV prison drama, Orange Is The New Black. The series, whose third season debuted on June 12, was created by Jenji Kohan and based on the book by Piper Kerman. Purdy, repped by Don Buchwald and Associates and manager Bernard Kira, recently starred in USA comedy Benched.
