‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow’ Taps Phil Klemmer As Showrunner

Greg Berlanti has recruited one of his go-to writer-producers as showrunner of the new CW series DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow. Phil Klemmer, who has worked on three other Berlanti Prods. series (The Tomorrow People, Golden Boy and Political Animals)  is joining Legends Of Tomorrow as executive producer/showrunner. He will be working alongside executive producers Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Sarah Schechter.

In Legends Of Tomorrow, from Berlanti Prods. and Warner Bros. TV, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter, having seen a future he wants desperately to prevent from happening, is tasked with assembling a disparate group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat. Not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. The series stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Ciarra Renee, Franz Drameh, with Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller.

Klemmer wrote the pilot for Tomorrow People and served as executive/showrunner on the series. His previous credits also include Chuck and Veronica Mars.
