‘The Escort’ L.A. Film Fest Trailer: Biz Deal Between Sex Addict & Hooker Goes Good

EXCLUSIVE: “I used to think that any guy would be a sex addict if he could, and now that I know one, it’s real — and it is scary.” That line is delivered at the expense of Mitch (Michael Doneger), a sex-obsessed writer who needs a big story to land a big job. He turns to Natalie (Lyndsy Fonseca), a Stanford-schooled hooker who says “you tell yourself that you would never do something like that for money, but when it’s staring you right in the face…” So they form a mutually beneficial partnership: He tags along on her tricks to research his article; she covertly uses him as a sort of bodyguard against not-so-dear Johns. Their business deal becomes a friendship that eventually leads to, well, you have an idea.

Welcome to The Escort, which has its world premiere June 15 in the LA Muse section at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Tommy Dewey, Rachel Resheff, Rumer Willis, Dan Bakkedahl, Iqbal Theba, Sonya Walger, Dean Chekvala and a pot-smoking Bruce Campbell co-star in the director Will Slocombe’s pic from Cloverhill Pictures. Doneger wrote it with Brandon A. Cohen and also is a producer. Check out the NSFW trailer.
