John C. McGinley Joins ‘The Belko Experiment’; ‘The Magnificent Seven’ Adds Two

Scrubs alum John C. McGinley has joined the cast of The Belko Experiment. Writer James Gunn made the announcement on his Facebook page. McGinley will play socially awkward Wendell Dukes, one of the top executives at Belko and longtime friend of Barry Norris (Tony Goldwyn). Helmed by Greg McLean, the MGM thriller is about an office building in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where employees are mysteriously forced to either start killing each other or be killed. Gunn is also producing this project along with Peter Safran.  Most recently McGinley starred in Ground Floor on TBS and was part of the ’90s cult classic comedy Office Space. He is repped by UTA, Core PR, and Morris Yorn.

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Martin Sensmeier have joined the all-star ensemble cast of The Magnificent Seven. Rulfo will play Vasquez and Sensmeier is Red Harvest. The Antoine Fuqua-directed film is set in the old West and follows seven gunmen who come together to defend a destitute village against ruthless thieves. Rulfo, repped by Paradigm, was recently seen in the Jennifer Aniston-starrer Cake. Sensmeier’s credits include the WGN series Salem. He’s repped by Justine Hunt at Hines and Hunt Entertainment. The film is scheduled to be released in 2017.
