The networks have started their Upfronts presentations in NYC today but on TV last night it was a trio of endings. With that inevitable showdown, some parental love and a wedding, the final farewell was for Revenge (1.3/4). However, while ending its four-season run for good after its April 29 cancellation, the Mike Kelly-created soapy drama didn’t really pulled the trigger on Sunday ratingswise. Following a double-digit surge among adults 18-49 last week, it was pretty steady among the key demo from last week with an 8% rise.

While that’s the best the ABC series has done with the 18-49s since November 16, it is also pretty much EMILY VANCAMP, JAMES TUPPERsteady with what Revenge pulled in for its Season 3 ender on May 11 last year, with a 7% decline. With a total viewership of 4.80 million in fast nationals, last night’s end was down 1% from last year’s finale.

Like 2014, Revenge’s season finale came right after the season finale of Once Upon A Time (1.7/6). And like last year, last night’s Season 4 ender was a two-hour fantasy de force. This year’s finale was even with its May 3 episode but fell a hard 26% from its Season 3 ender on May 11, 2014, which got a 2.3/7 among 18-49s. America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.4/6) started the night for ABC, matching last week’s demo result. Still, OUAT was the night’s highest-rated show, and overall ABC won Sunday among 18-49s with a 1.5/5 rating.

The other big finale of the third Sunday night of the May sweep was The Good Wife (1.2/4). Wrapping its sixth season with even greater political aspirations for one character and an exit stage left for another, the acclaimed but still-not-renewed drama was the biggest demo bang for the night with a 33% surge over last week’s series low. Finale-to-finale, last night is even with the Season 5 ender of May 18, 2014, when the CBS series faced the Billboard Music Awards on ABC among others. In terms of viewership, The Good Wife‘s Season 6 finale was also steady with its fifth-season finale with a 0.9% rise to 9.23 million.

With a total viewership win for the night with 8.19 million watching, CBS had a good Sunday otherwise too. Kicking things off, 60 Minutes (1.1/4) was up 22% from last week while the now-cancelled Battle Creek (0.8/3) rose 12% from its May 3 episode.

Things went the other direction on NBC with A.D. The Bible Continues (0.9/3) tumbling 18% from last week and American Odyssey (0.5/2) even with last week’s results to end as the lowest-rated original of the night. NBC’s night started off with overrun from the network’s PGA Players Championship golf coverage.

Fox’s Sunday was a mix of encores and new shows that saw the 8 PM The Simpsons (1.2/4) slip 8% from last week. The rest of the network’s night had Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.2/4) even with its May 3 show, while the 9:30 PM Bob’s Burgers (1.2/3) was up a healthy 20% from last week.
