Rosario Dawson Set For ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ Season 2 On Netflix

Rosario Dawson is returning to Hell’s Kitchen. Dawson has signed on to reprise her role as Claire Temple in the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil for premiere in 2016 on Netflix. It’s part of a larger exclusive TV deal that also will allow her to appear in any of Marvel’s other Netflix original series, Marvel and Netflix announced today.

Romantically entangled with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in Season 1, Claire helped the hero after more than a few of his brutal battles in the streets of Hell’s Kitchen. Cast also includes Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Scott Glenn, Bob Gunton, Toby Leonard Moore, Vondie Curtis Hall, and Ayelet Zurer.

“After working with Rosario in the first season, we knew instantly that we had to have her back for our second,” said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb. “Claire Temple proved a fan favorite in Season 1, and we can’t wait for fans to see all the plans we have for her next.”

Dawson’s other credits include features Top Five, Cesar Chavez, Sin City and Kids among others.
