‘Vacation’ Trailer: Red Band Look At Franchise Reboot Starring Ed Helms As Grown-up Rusty

New Line just released a red band trailer for Vacation, the reboot of the 1983 comedy that Harold Ramis directed from a John Hughes script. That’s a tall order to top but an opportunity to rediscover the Griswolds and the Walley World theme park. How does Ed Helms compare to Chevy Chase and Christina Applegate to Beverly D’Angelo? This one was written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein, and the movie must be pretty good because it put those guys in the conversation for the next director of Spider-Man. Warner Bros opens the film July 29.
