‘Naked And Afraid’ Renewed For Season 3 By Discovery Channel

Discovery Channel

On the heels of its Season 2 premiere, Discovery Channel has picked up a third season of its hit survival series Naked And Afraid. The series’ April 19 Season 2 premiere was Discovery Channel’s highest-rated ever, according to the network. It earned a 2.20 in P25-54, up +32% vs last season’s premiere. Additionally, Naked And Afraid pulled in 3.471 million total viewers in P2+, up 29% vs last season’s premiere and was the most watched premiere without a Wallenda lead-in.

Naked And Afraid drops a man and a woman – complete strangers – in a remote location with no food, no water…and no clothes. The survivalists are stranded all over the world across four continents and they must survive 21 days to complete the challenge.

Naked And Afraid is produced for Discovery Channel by Renegade 83; David Garfinkle, Jay Renfroe and Steve Rankin are executive producers. Denise Contis and Joseph Boyle exec produce for Discovery.
