Cannes Film Festival chief Thierry Frémaux and incoming President Pierre Lescure announced the lineup for next month’s 68th edition this morning in Paris. From the Champs-Elysées they unveiled 44 titles that make up the Competition, Un Certain Regard, Out of Competition and Midnight Screening sections. I was in the house to live blog the proceedings, which included Frémaux promising no “selfie ban” on the red carpet — even if they are “ridiculous and grotesque.” Many of the titles announced were tipped, but there are also a handful of names missing. There are still more movies to be announced next week — along with the Critics’ Week and Directors’ Fortnight lineups. Check out our full list of the titles revealed today, here, and catch up with today’s press conference below. The festival runs from May 13-24.
