Producer Jesse Collins Inks Deal With BET

BET Networks has signed a first-look deal with one of its most prolific producers, Jesse Collins, who is behind BET’s awards franchises as well as the network’s hit series Real Husbands Of Hollywood.  

Under the multi-year pact, Collins will develop new projects through his Jesse Collins Entertainment banner, which is based on the Paramount lot. Additionally, JCE will continue as the production company for the BET Awards, The BET Honors and BET Hip Hop Awards, and he will continue as an executive producer on Real Husbands Of Hollywood.

Collins has worked as a writer-producer on BET Awards, The BET Honors and BET Hip Hop Awards since the shows’ inception. His company, JCE, has produced the BET Awards since 2012, Hip Hop since 2012 and Honors since 2013‎.

Collins began his TV career as a writer on The Parent ‘Hood. His next project for BET is UNCF An Evening Of Stars, which he executive produces for JCE. The special airs on April 26. Collins is repped by ICM Partners, the Collins Jackson Agency, Niles Kirchner Management, Richard Thompson and Alan Hergott.
