Andrew Howard Joins TNT’s ‘Agent X’; Lindsey Gort In TV Land’s ‘Impastor’

Andrew Howard (Hatfields & McCoys) has booked a six-episode arc on TNT’s drama series Agent X. Written by William Blake Herron, Agent X centers on John Case (Jeff Hephner), a top secret agent hidden from the view of the public – and even from the President – who is trained and ready to serve, deployed only at the careful discretion of the Vice President (Sharon Stone). He will play Nicholas Volker, a physically lethal and diabolically brilliant man who is an international ‘chaos merchant.’ Howard, repped by ICM Partners, Julian Belfrage Assoc. and LINK, recurs on A&E’s Bates Motel.

Lindsey Gort (The Carrie Diaries) has joined the cast of TV Land’s single-camera dark comedy series Impastor as a recurring. Written by Christopher Vane and directed by Robert Greenberg, the story centers on Buddy (Michael Rosenbaum), a gambling, pot-smoking slacker on the run from a loan shark who steals a man’s identity and ends up posing as the new gay pastor in a small, tightknit town. Gort, repped by Pakula/King & Associates and Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management, will play Ashlee, a high-end escort. Gort played Samantha on The Carrie Diaries and currently recurs on Baby Daddy.
