Steven Weber To Topline CBS Comedy Pilot ‘Joe Time’

After a string of hourlong series, Wings star Steven Weber is returning to his multi-camera comedy roots with a starring role in Joe Time, CBS’ multi-cam comedy pilot from Warner Bros. TV and former Modern Family executive producer Bill Wrubel. Directed by veteran James Burrows, who also helmed the Wings pilot 25 years ago, Joe Time centers on Joe (Weber), a family man who struggles with the fact that everyone around him is pursuing their dreams and enjoying their lives more than he is. He’s starting to wonder if he’ll ever be able to follow his own desires, whatever that may be. Weber joins previously cast Duane Martin and Eric Petersen. Weber, repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners and UTA, is recurring on the second season of Syfy drama Helix.
