Stone Village Is Ringmaster Of ‘Circus Mirandus’ Rights

Stone Village Productions is embarking on a magical journey of sorts. The company’s Scott Steindorff and Dylan Russell have paid high six figures for film and TV rights to Circus Mirandus, the upcoming debut novel from Cassie Beasley that celebrates the power of seeing magic in the world. It revolves around Micah and his friend Jenny, who set out in search of the mysterious Circus Mirandus to find its greatest magician, the Lightbender. They hope to persuade the magic man to perform one last miracle: saving Micah’s dying grandpa. Dial Books will published the novel in June.

The deal was negotiated between Russell and Jason Dravis of the Dravis Agency and Elena Giovinazzo of Pippin Properties on behalf of Beasley. Stone Village is meeting with writers and directors for the project.
