Margo Martindale Joins Bryan Cranston-David Shore CBS Drama Pilot ‘Sneaky Pete’
The Millers‘ Margo Martindale is returning to CBS with a co-starring role in drama pilot Sneaky Pete, written and executive produced by Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston and House creator David Shore for Sony TV. This also marks a return to the drama side for Martindale, who won an Emmy for role in FX’s Justified, also produced by Sony.
Sneaky Pete centers on a thirty-something con man who, upon leaving prison, takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of a cellmate. “Sneaky Pete” then hides out from his debtors while working for his new “family’s” bail bond business. There he uses his considerable charm and criminal prowess to take down bad guys far worse than himself, partnering with a very attractive female “cousin” who has her suspicions about his real motives. Gersh-repped Martindale will play Audrey, who with her husband is trying to keep the family bail bond business afloat when Pete shows up on their door step.
