DIG is an action thriller set against the backdrop of modern Jerusalem with a pedigree that includes Tim Kring (Heroes) and Gideon Raff (Homeland). It centers on FBI agent Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs), who leaves his personal demons behind to take a job stationed in Israel under the guidance of his new boss and occasional lover (Anne Heche). When he sets out to solve the murder of a young American, he finds himself embroiled in an international mystery that delves into the Holy Land’s darkest secrets.
David Costabile, Richard E. Grant, Regina Taylor, Lauren Ambrose, Alison Sudol, Omar Metwally and Ori Pfeffer co-star in the series, from Universal Cable Productions. It originally targeted a 2014 bow before production in Israel was forced to relocate after battles broke out anew on the Gaza Strip last summer.
James Wan directs and Chris Morgan penned Furious 7, which was also was pushed back following Walker’s tragic death in a car crash in November 2013.
