Adam Shankman To Helm Peter Dinklage Comedy ‘O’Lucky Day’ For Paramount

EXCLUSIVE: Director Adam Shankman is in talks to direct O’Lucky Day, a Paramount Pictures comedy that will star Game Of Thrones‘ Emmy winner¬†Peter Dinklage as a con man who may or may not be a real Leprechaun, but who certainly passes himself off as one. The film’s being produced by Mary Parent and Cale Boyter through their Disruption Entertainment banner, along with Dinklage.

Andrew Dodge (Bad Words) wrote the script, with Damian Shannon & Mark Swift doing the rewrite and Dodge returning to help. The plan is to start production in April, after Dinklage wraps the next season of Game Of Thrones and his pivotal character Tyrion Lannister.

Shankman is repped by UTA and attorney Alan Hergott; Dinklage is repped by CAA, Insight and Jackoway Tyerman.

Shannon & Swift’s credits include the Friday the 13th franchise and Freddy Vs Jason. They’re repped by UTA and Magnet Management. Dodge is repped by UTA and¬†Grandview.
