Hot Broadway Trailer: ‘Finding Neverland’ Gets Hollywood-Style Treatment

Exclusive: Here’s the movie-style television spot that producer Harvey Weinstein ordered up from cutting-edge ad agency SpotCo for Finding Neverland, the musical adaptation of Miramax’s 2004 Johnny Depp/Kate Winslet story about J.M. Barrie and the inspiration for the original Peter Pan.

The 30-second ad features “When Your Feet Don’t Touch the Ground,” sung by the musical’s composer Gary Barlow (frontman and lead singer of British pop sensation Take That). The show goes into rehearsal today under director Diane Paulus prior to first preview March 15 and opening night April 15 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

The cast is led by Matthew Morrison (GleeSouth Pacific), Kelsey Grammer (FrasierLa Cage aux Folles), Laura Michelle Kelly (Mary Poppins) and Carolee Carmello (Parade).

The cast also includes Teal Wicks, Alex Dreier, Aidan Gemme, Jackson DeMott Hill, Noah Hinsdale, Sawyer Nunes, Chris Richards, Hayden Signoretti with Courtney Balan, Dana Costello, Colin Cunliffe, Rory Donovan, Chris Dwan, Kevin Kern, Josh Lamon, Melanie Moore, Mary Page Nance, Fred Odgaard, Emma Pfaeffle, Jonathan Ritter, Tyley Ross, Julius Anthony Rubio, Paul Slade Smith, Ron Todorowski, Jaime Verazin and Jessica Vosk.
