Oscars: Adam Levine To Perform Best Song Nominee “Lost Stars”

These announcements will come fast and furious now as the Oscar producers begin lining up talent for the 87th Academy Awards on February 22. The Best Original Song category is loaded with big names on the writing and performing fron, none as big as Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice judge Adam Levine, who will perform “Lost Stars” from the John Carney-helmed Begin Again, the Weinstein Company pic that he also co-starred in with Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley.

“Lost Stars,” written by former New Radicals frontman Gregg Alexander and Danielle Brisebois, in on a nominee list that includes “Everything Is Awesome” from The Lego Movie, “Glory” from Selma, “Grateful” from Beyond the Lights and Glen Campbell’s “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” from the docu Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me.
