Adam Sher Joins Leftfield Entertainment As Chief Creative Officer

Former Ryan Seacrest Prods. CEO Adam Sher has joined ITV Studios-owned production company Leftfield Entertainment as Chief Creative Officer. In the newly created position, Sher will operate across the Leftfield group, which includes flagship Leftfield Pictures (Pawn Stars), Sirens Media (Real Housewives of New Jersey), Loud TV (Tiny House Nation) and Outpost Entertainment (PBS’ Icons). Based at Leftfield’s Los Angeles offices, Sher has been tasked with expanding the West Coast operation, providing creative input to all divisions of LFE and brokering new partnerships. He will report to Leftfield Entertainment CEO Brent Montgomery.

During his lengthy tenure as CEO of RSP, Sher served as executive producer on ABC’s Emmy-winning Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset, E!’s Married to Jonas, as well as ABC’s scripted comedy Mixology. He also was helped negotiate a major transaction involving private equity investors Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital, and Clear Channel’s investment in RSP. In addition, Sher has recently set up the scripted drama Promised Land at Amazon Studios. He started his career with a 16-year stunt at the William Morris Agency, rising to SVP in the Alternative Television Department.

Leftfield Entertainment is coming off its most prolific year, having produced more than 400 episodes of TV programming in 2014.
