‘Moment Of Truth’ Docudrama Series Set For Saturdays On ABC
ABC will debut its two-hour docudrama series Moment Of Truth at 9 PM Friday, March 6, before moving it to its regular 9-11 PM Saturday time slot the next night. The “staring death in the face” uses dramatizations to tell first-person accounts of harrowing tales of survival. Each episode also features interviews with the survivors and those who helped save their lives.
Saturday is a night of lower ratings expectations for broadcasters; among the programs ABC has tested in the slot over the years: My Extreme Affliction, 20/20 Saturday, and Nightline Prime. In the timeslot, MoT is taking on, among other programs, CBS’ 48 Hours.
“Moment Of Truth is executive produced by Maria Awes and Andy Awes for Committee Films in association with ABC’s Lincoln Square Productions.
