Justin Bieber Getting Comedy Central Roast

Apparently Justin Bieber is getting his wish. Comedy Central has tapped the pop icon as this year’s Roastee. The network says The Comedy Central Roast Of Justin Bieber (#BieberRoast) will tape in Los Angeles, with a tape and airdate to be announced soon.

“Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We’re thrilled he listened,” said Kent Alterman, President, Content Development & Original Programming, Comedy Central.

Some of that source material may have been helped by Kate McKinnon’s hilarious impersonation of Bieber in his Calvin Klein underwear commercials last weekend on SNL.  See it here.
