‘Saturday Night Live’ Ratings On Par With Host Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart was no match for fellow standup Chris Rock as Saturday Night Live host but still delivered solid ratings last night. The NBC late-night program kicked off 2015 with a show hosted by Hart and musical guest Sia that averaged a 4.1 rating in the metered market households and a 2.0 in adults 18-49 in the markets with Local People Meters. That was up a tenth in households and even in the demo from SNL‘s most recent original telecast on Dec. 20 hosted by Amy Adams.

SNL‘s high mark of the season remains the Nov. 1 show hosted by Chris Rock with musical guest Prince, which drew a 4.9 rating in the metered markets households and a 2.4 adults 18-49.
