‘Kirby Buckets’ Renewed For Second Season On Disney XD
Kirby, Fish and Eli are coming back. Disney XD has ordered a second season of its popular live action/animated series Kirby Buckets. Production on the single-camera series will resume in Los Angeles in March.
Season 1 focuses on Kirby, his two best buds, Fish and Eli, and his imaginative animated characters as they navigate the ups and downs of everyday high school life and their wacky town of Forest Hills while trying to stay off Kirby’s sister, Dawn, and her best friend, Belinda’s, radar. Jacob Bertrand (Marvin Marvin, Bubble Guppies) stars as Kirby, Mekai Curtis (Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day) as Fish, Cade Sutton (The Neighbors) as Eli, Olivia Stuck (Good Luck Charlie) as Dawn, and Tiffany Espensen (Bucket and Skinner’s Epic Adventures) as Belinda.
Kirby Buckets ranked among Disney XD’s Top 5 series of 2014 across Boys 2-11 (250,000/1.2), Boys 6-11 (217,000/1.6) and Boys 6-14 (280,000/1.5). Series was created by Gabe Snyder & Mike Alber and executive produced by Kristofor Brown. Kirby Buckets is a production of Horizon Prods.
