Neil Jackson Joins TNT Pilot ‘Lumen’; Giacomo Gianniotti In Lifetime Mini ‘Marilyn’

British actor Neil Jackson (Sleepy Hollow) has joined the cast of TNT drama pilot, Lumen, written by Chris Black and directed by Joe Johnson. In Lumen, the famous author of a best-selling series of fantasy books suddenly disappears, and a family of four finds themselves transported to the mystical alternate world that inspired her work. Jackson, repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment, will play Prince Dai of Lumen who’s also the long lost husband and father of the family. Stunned to see his wife and son in Lumen, Dai explains how he came to be on Earth and why he left them, unwillingly, to go back to Lumen, his home. Jackson’s additional credits include features You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, Quantum Of Solace and Alexander.

Giacomo Gianniotti has landed a role in Marilyn, Lifetime’s upcoming four-hour miniseries about tragic Hollywood icon, Marilyn Monroe. Gianniotti, repped by Thruline Entertainment and the Characters Agency, will play Jimmy Dougherty, a Los Angeles detective who was once married to Marilyn (Kelli Garner). Gianniotti recently appeared opposite Karen Gillan and John Cho in ABC’s Selfie, recurs on CW’s Reign and recently wrapped a supporting role in Stephen Hopkins’ Race opposite Jeremy Irons and Jeffrey Rush.
