Dominic Di-Natale, who covered the recent riots in Ferguson, MO, for Fox News and earlier had reported from Osama bin Laden’s compound and the Arab Spring riots in Egypt, was found dead Wednesday in Jefferson County, CO. He was 43. Fox News said the local coroner ruled Di-Natale’s death a suicide.
Di-Natale began his career as a magazine writer in the late 1980s and moved to BBC World in 1995, working from Dubai, Frankfurt, Brussels, London and NYC. He joined Fox News in 2007 and most recently was a freelancer based in its Los Angeles bureau until resigning amicably on November 30. “We were extremely saddened to learn of Dominic’s passing and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends,” the news org said in a statement. “He was an esteemed journalist and an integral part of our news coverage throughout the Middle East.”
