‘Top Five’ Review: Pete Hammond’s 5 Reasons To See Chris Rock’s ‘Annie Hall’

Comedian Chris Rock wrote, produced, directed and starred in Top Five, about a successful comedic actor who makes a stab at a serious acting career after his reality-star fiancee talks him into a very unserious show about their wedding.  Watch my video review above to see my Top Five reasons why you should see this film. There’s lots to love (and probably way more than five reasons).

The top-notch cast also includes a great Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union, Adam Sandler, Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld and Tracy Morgan among many other comedy notables. Other producers include Barry Diller, Scott Rudin and Eli Bush (Kanye West and Jay-Z are listed as co-producers).

Paramount is releasing the film this weekend, after spending a record $12.5 million to acquire the film following its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Will you see the film? Post your five reasons why you may or may not.
