Joshua Leonard Checks Into ‘Bates Motel’; Gbenga Akinnagbe Books ‘The Following’

Joshua Leonard has joined the Season 3 cast of A&E’s Psycho prequel Bates Motel. He’ll play James Finnigan, a handsome community college psych professor whose pull toward Norma (Vera Farmiga) slowly chips away as his carefully constructed house of cards. Leonard’s recent TV credits include Scorpion, True Detective and the upcoming HBO drama Togetherness. He also starred with Farmiga on the big screen in 2011’s Higher Ground, which she directed, and next appears in Teenage Cocktail and opposite Taissa Farmiga in Six Years. Leonard is repped by Silver Lining Entertainment and Myman Abel Fineman.

Gbenga Akinnagbe has booked a role on The Following. In Season 3 of the Fox thriller, he’ll play Tom, a handsome and charming Hostage Rescue Team agent for the FBI. Akinnagbe’s TV credits include 24: Live Another Day, Law & Order: SVU, Graceland, Damages, Nurse Jackie, The Good Wife and The Wire. His recent feature roles include Fort Bliss, Phantom Hall and Home, and he stars opposite Alfre Woodard in the upcoming Knucklehead. Akinnagbe is repped by Silver Lining Entertainment, APA, United Agents and Nelson Davis.
