Add Bill Cosby’s show at Las Vegas’ Treasure Island resort to the list of cancellations amid sexual assault allegations surrounding the comedian. A resort spokeswoman says Cosby’s November 28 show has been canceled by”mutual agreement”. The announcement comes hours after Cosby began his tour in the Bahamas and follows NBC’s decision to pull a Cosby comedy series it had in development, Netflix’s shelving of Cosby’s comedy special that was slated for release next week and TV Land pulling reruns of the old Cosby Show from its airwaves.
Beverly Hills attorney Marty Singer yesterday blasted the media for its handling of the Cosby sex abuse scandal, as he questioned the motives and credibility of his client’s accusers, saying it “had reached the point of absurdity”. Cosby, himself, has remained mum.
