Adaptive Studios Launches Comic Books Division Led By ‘Jonah Hex’, ‘Harley Quinn’ Team

EXCLUSIVE: Adaptive Studios, which recently rebooted HBO’s Project Greenlight with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, is going into the graphic novels business with the launch of Adaptive Comics. The new division will produce a slate of graphic novels and comics with Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray of PaperFilms, the multi-award winning writer/artist team behind the DC Comics series Jonah Hex and Harley Quinn.

“Adaptive Studios is committed to telling great stories on a variety of platforms,” Adaptive Studios co-founder TJ Barrack told Deadline. “Graphic novels represent one of the most dynamic ways to not only visually represent a narrative but also build an active and engaged audience that can grow with us.”
