Disney’s ‘Feast’ Director Patrick Osborne Signs With WME

EXCLUSIVE: If you saw Big Hero 6 last week then you probably saw the directorial debut of Patrick Osborne. The supervising animator on the Oscar-winning short Paperman, Osborne helmed the unbelievably charming short Feast that was shown before the Don Hall- and Chris Williams-directed feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios. And, with Oscar buzz around Feast, Osborne has now signed with WME, I’ve learned. He continues to also be repped by Anonymous and Hirsch Wallerstein.

While doggie POV Feast evolved, like Paperman, out of work that Osborne and production designer Jeff Turley did a few years back in Disney’s Spark unit, the short is far from the first time that animation fans have seen Osborne’s work. He was an animator on 2012’s Oscar winning Wreck-It Ralph as well as 2010’s Tangled and 2008’s Bolt, among others.

If you haven’t seen Feast yet, check out the trailer here.
