James Martinez Joins ‘Aquarius’; Melinda Page Hamilton In ‘Dig’

James Martinez (Low Winter Sun, Breaking Bad) is set for a multi-episode arc opposite David Duchovny in NBC‘s upcoming series Aquarius. The gritty 1960s drama focuses on a cop (Duchovny) who goes undercover to track Charles Manson and the Manson Family before their infamous murder spree. Martinez, repped by Stone Manners Salners and Sweet 180, will play Ruben Salazar, a former war correspondent and a reporter with the Los Angeles Times who is threatening to expose the true identity of an LAPD detective. Martinez plays a supporting character in the upcoming Liam Neeson-helmed feature Run All Night.

Melinda Page Hamilton (Mad Men, Devious Maids) is set as a heavily recurring guest star in USA Network’s 10-episode event series Dig, an action adventure drama from Heroes creator Tim Kring and Homeland executive producer Gideon Raff. It centers on Peter (Jason Isaacs), an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem who, while investigating a murder of a woman archaeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making that threatens to change the course of history. Hamilton, repped by SDB Partners and Sager Entertainment, will play Sandra, one of Tad Billingham’s (David Costabile) disciples at his compound in Arizona. She has devoted her life to Billingham and his cause, no matter what it might mean for her. Hamilton’s most recent TV credits include Masters Of Sex and True Blood. She’s also had recurring roles on Desperate Housewives and Big Love.
