‘Mulaney’ Bumped To 7:30 PM, Swaps Slots With ‘Bob’s Burgers’ On Sunday

Fox’s low-rated new sitcom Mulaney is getting an expected time-period downgrade. The live-action Sunday comedy, created by and starring comedian John Mulaney, is moving to the 7:30 PM slot, occupied by Bob’s Burgers, effective immediately. Fox’s 7:30 PM half-hour is preempted for an NFL doubleheader this Sunday, so Mulaney’s first airing in the new berth will be on November 23. Starting this Sunday, animated comedy Bob’s Burgers will take over Mulaney’s 9:30 PM time period, following Family Guy.

Mulaney, ordered straight-to-series by Fox’s previous regime, has been pretty much dead on arrival. The comedy, from Universal TV, drew a 0.9 in 18-49 this past Sunday after falling to a 0.7 the week before. Its order, originally for 16 episodes, was trimmed to 13 last month.
