USA Network continued the renewals of its existing series with a third-season pickup of Graceland, which has received a 13-episode order for next year. Season 2 of the serialized undercover agents drama, from creator Jeff Eastin and Fox TV Studios, averaged 2.6 million total viewers, 1.25 million adults 18-49 in Live+7.
The network waited for Live+7 data before making the pickup decision because Graceland is a very time-shifted show, with 112% average L7 DVR increases in 18-49.
Graceland joins USA’s Suits, Royal Pains and Satisfaction — all from Universal Cable Prods. — which already have been renewed for next year. Pending is the renewal for the last remaining current USA series with no pickup for 2015, Covert Affairs.
“This season of Graceland took viewers on a wild ride with unexpected character twists, and a heart-stopping cliffhanger that left a lead character’s fate in question,” said USA Network President Chris McCumber.
