Minnie Driver Joins NBC’s ‘Peter Pan Live!’ Musical

About A Boy’s Minnie Driver has joined the cast of NBC’s Peter Pan Live! musical. She will play the adult version of Wendy Darling and also serve as narrator for the production, joining Allison Williams (Peter Pan), Christopher Walken (Captain Hook/George Darling) and Kelli O’Hara (Mrs. Darling). Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are executive producing the live special, NBC’s follow-up to its hugely successful live staging of The Sound Of Music, which the duo also produced. It airs December 4.

“We’re thrilled to have Minnie as part of this ‘Peter Pan’ adventure,” said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment. “She appears in the final emotional scene when Peter returns to the Darling home years later only to realize Wendy is now grown up and has a daughter of her own, but you’ll also hear her voice throughout the movie since Adult Wendy is also our narrator. She’s a classy addition to our wonderful cast.”

Driver currently co-stars on NBC’s comedy About A Boy. She was Emmy nominated earlier this year for her role in the Lifetime movie Return To Zero. She also earned both Emmy and Golden Globe noms for her role in FX’s The Riches and received an Oscar and two SAG nominations for her supporting role in feature Good Will Hunting.
