The upcoming sixth season of Netflix’s Emmy-winning drama series The Crown chronicles the lives of the British royals in the wake of Princes Diana’s tragic death in August 1997.
That includes her son Prince William’s college years at St. Andrews University where he met his future wife, Kate Middleton. Photos from the set of the series, which has been filming in St. Andrews, Scotland, provide a glimpse at the duo’s budding romance reenacted by Ed McVey, who portrays the prince during later teen and early adult years, and newcomer Meg Bellamy, who plays Kate.
Deadline in September exclusively revealed McVey’s and Bellamy’s castings as well as the fact that another young actor, Rufus Kampa, had been tapped to play Prince William aged 15 in Season 6.
