Quentin Tarantino’s Career In Directing Film Gallery: From ‘Pulp Fiction’, ‘Reservoir Dogs’ & ‘Kill Bill’ To ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ And More

Quentin Tarantino has created some of the most memorable cinematic moments and characters since the 90s when he made his directorial debut film, Reservoir Dogs. The film that solidified his career in Hollywood as a maverick in directing was also funded with the support of royalty checks he received by performing as an Elvis Presley impersonator on The Golden Girls in 1988.

Besides acting and directing, some refer to him as a triple threat as he is also a talented screenwriter. He has not only written his own films but also scripts for True Romance, Natural Born Killers and From Dusk Till Dawn.

Long before the hero multiverses, Tarantino created connected characters in his own films continuing the narrative of his films in clever subtle ways. His second film to follow Reservoir dogs was Pulp Fiction starring John Travolta, Uma Thurman, and Samuel L. Jackson. Tarantino’s pulp fiction character, Jimmie Dimmick is the brother of Mr. White in Reservoir Dogs as is John Travolta’s character Vincent, who is also the brother of Vic Vega, portrayed by Michael Madsen in Reservoir Dogs. In his other films, his characters are related either as distant grandchildren, father and son, and even husband and wife. 

In order to experience this family affair, Quentin has released 9 films in total including Jackie Brown, Kill Bill: Vol.1 & Vol. 2, Death Proof, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
