The stars came together tonight to celebrate Hollywood’s Big Night for achievements in film at the 95th Academy Awards from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, Los Angeles on Sunday, March 12th.
The red carpet event began with Brendan Fraser, Jamie Lee Curtis, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Angela Bassett, Michelle Williams, Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Austin Butler, Paul Mescal, Sigourney Weaver, Rihanna, Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martin, Florence Pugh, Hugh Grant, Jennifer Connelly, Steven Spielberg, Bill Nighy, Danai Gurira, Fan Bingbing, Sarah Polley, Ana de Armas and many more.
Presenters for the Oscars included Riz Ahmed, Emily Blunt, Glenn Close, Jennifer Connelly, Ariana DeBose, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Troy Kotsur, Jonathan Majors, Melissa McCarthy, Janelle Monáe, Deepika Padukone, Questlove, Zoe Saldaña and Donnie Yen and Grammy-winning musician Lenny Kravitz delivered the “In Memoriam” performance.
Other presenters announced were Halle Bailey, Antonio Banderas, Elizabeth Banks, Jessica Chastain, John Cho, Andrew Garfield, Hugh Grant, Danai Gurira, Salma Hayek Pinault, Nicole Kidman, Florence Pugh and Sigourney Weaver who will all present statuettes tonight.
The films competing for the coveted best picture are All Quiet on the Western Front; Avatar: The Way of Water; The Banshees of Inisherin; Elvis; Everything Everywhere All at Once; The Fabelmans; Tár; Top Gun: Maverick; Triangle of Sadness and Women Talking with Everything Everywhere All at Once winning the Best Picture category.
