EXCLUSIVE: Canadian actress Aliyah O’Brien has been tapped for a recurring role on the upcoming sixth season of the CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
O’Brien will play Kayla, a fearsome warrior with a high body count and low patience for human incompetence. She’ll be put through her paces working with and against the Legends as she’s certainly not used to messing anything up much less for the better.
Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan, Olivia Swann and Courtney Ford star.
Based on the characters from DC, DC’S Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Phil Klemmer, Grianne Godfree, Keto Shimizu and Sarah Schechter.
O’Brien’s television credits include the series-regular role of Detective Christine Rollins in ABC’s crime procedural Take Two, alongside Rachel Bilson and Eddie Cibrian, and recurring roles in Syfy’s Ascension and Continuum, ABC’s Rookie Blue, NBC’s Taken, Audience Network’s Ice, Freeform’s Beyond and Audience’s You Me Her. Her film work includes Paramount’s Monster Trucks opposite Rob Lowe and Thomas Lennon. She is repped by Premiere Talent Management
