101 Films Buys Supernatural Horror ‘Widow’s Point’ For September Release

EXCLUSIVE: 101 Films has locked North American rights on supernatural horror Widow’s Point, Gregory Lamberson’s adaptation of the book co-written by Richard Chizmar and his son Billy.

Pic stars Craig Sheffer (A River Runs Through It) and KateLynn E. Newberry (Homecoming Revenge – Lifetime Original) in the story of a writer who spends a weekend locked in a haunted lighthouse to help promote his next book, where he is targeted by supernatural forces.

101 has set a September 1 digital release for the movie. Genre outfit Devilworks repped sales rights.
