HBO will continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Sopranos with a marathon of the show’s final season. Twenty years to the day that the groundbreaking series premiered, HBO2 will air all episodes of the sixth and final season Thursday, January 10 beginning at noon ET/PT.
Earlier this week, Sopranos creator David Chase gave Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. a glimpse of the prequel feature film The Many Saints of Newark that he wrote with Sopranos alum Lawrence Konner. Among other things, he confirmed that a young Tony Soprano will be a part of the tapestry of the period film.
Chase and many of the cast have gathered for The Sopranos Film Festival, which kicked off Wednesday with five days of live events and airings of classic episodes at the IFC Center, presented by the Split Screens festival.
