The rescheduling of the State of the Union address to Tuesday, February 5, has prompted schedule changes for NBC’s This Is Us, including the hit drama series’ season finale, and The Village.
The next episode of This Is Us will air at 9 PM Tuesday, February 12, and its season finale will be moved to Tuesday, April 2 at 9 PM. The Village will follow This Is Us at 10 PM from March 12-April 2 and move to 9 PM on Tuesday, April 9.
The State of the Union address originally was scheduled for January 29 until the government shutdown threw that date into question. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi withdrew her invitation and suggested it be moved to a date when the government had reopened. This week, Pelosi and President Donald Trump agreed to hold the speech on Tuesday. The president signed legislation last week to end what had become the longest shutdown in U.S. history.
