It’s been a busy day for President Donald Trump on . All alone in the White House (or so he claimed) and waiting to hear from “Cryin’ Chuck and Nancy” about getting together, there was a lot of time to review the state of the union, past and present enemies, and an upcoming television appearance.
The Commander-in-Tweet started his day with a review of “the failing New York Times” story on the FBI and its plans to look into him concerning Russia, which, ironically, resulted in it discovering no connection.
He labeled former FBI director James Comey as “Lyin’ James Comey,” using a theme and variation on the prior “Leakin’ James Comey.” He also used the term “total sleaze” in describing the former FBI chief, saying it was “a great day for America” when he finally fired him.
That was the warm-up. Trump then turned his attention to Bob Mueller’s investigation, which he claimed is protecting certain people and has no interest in going after the real collaborators – Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee.
The witch hunt, illegal immigration, the government shutdown that could be solved in 15 minutes, and the fake news Washington Post were next up on the Twitter bombing run.
All of that was wrapped up by a reminder to watch his interview tonight on Fox News, wherein a lot of today’s tweets will undoubtedly be reviewed and renewed.
