Basin will report to David Goldman, President of Business Operations for Paramount Television.
West joins Paramount Television after several years working as a top line producer for scripted TV series, including MTV’s Awkward, which earned Best Cable TV Comedy at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards. Since then, he has produced Rebel for BET, Black Lightning for the CW, and numerous pilots for Comedy Central. Most recently, West produced the series Family Reunion for Netflix. In his new role, West will report to Bergman.
“I am thrilled to have this talented stable of executives bringing their remarkable tastes, business acumen and visions to Paramount Television as we position it for continued growth and success,” said Clemens. “I am confident that each member of this team brings a depth of experience and relationships that will produce a unique alchemy to continue to evolve this company for the future.”
