Fox’s The Masked Singer (2.2 demo rating, 6.983 million viewers) continued to dominate Wednesday primetime in the demo for a third week, coming in a lap ahead of closest competitor in the key 18-49 age bracket, though down 1/10th from week ago’s stats. The slide is small, however, compared to previous week’s 7/10th drop off of its highly hyped unveiling two weeks back.
Masked Singer’s lead-in, Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back (1.0, 3.422M) also dipped 1/10th.
NBC’s Chicago dramas dominated Wednesday in total viewers, taking primetime’s No. 1, 2 and 3 spots.
Chicago Med (1.2, 8.517M) topped the night in total viewers while moving into the 8-9 PM lead in the demo (tying as night’s No. 2 show in the metric).
Chicago Fire (1.1, 8.005M) beat The Masked Singer in total viewers, at 9 PM, by more than 1M.
Chicago P.D. (1.1, 7.233M) took 10 PM both in overall audience and the demo. P.D. grew 1/10th in the demo, week to week, while its Chicago siblings slipped.
ABC’s 8:30 PM Schooled (1.1, 4.045M) tumbled 2/10th from previous week’s launch. Lead-in The Goldbergs (1.2, 4.805M), lead-out Modern Family (1.2 4.618M), and 10 PM’s Match Game (0.5, 2.304M) dropped 1/10th.
At 9:30 PM, Single Parents (0.8, 3.038M) stayed steady.
CW’s Riverdale (0.5, 1.338M) returned from winter break matching a season best in the demo. All American (0.2, 693K) returned steady.
CBS’ repeat lineup included The Big Bang Theory (1.0, 5.963M), Young Sheldon (0.8, 5.198M), NCIS (0.6, 4.169M) and F.B.I. (0.5, 3.363M).
Fox (1.5, 5.158M) topped the night in the demo. NBC (1.1, 7.918M) won in total viewers. ABC (0.9, 3.519M) was No. 3 in the demo while CBS (0.7, 4.371M) held No. 3 status in overall audience. CW (0.4, 1.015M) followed.
