A doctored video of President Donald Trump’s Tuesday night speech from the Oval Office that aired on a Fox affiliate in Seattle has led to the firing of the staffer who created it.

The video, aired on Seattle’s Q13, depicted the President sticking his tongue out languidly between sentences. Trump’s skin and hair were also color adjusted to look more orange.

During the speech, Trump briefly licked his lips before continuing to speak. In the altered video from Q13, it appears that Trump let his tongue hang out and rest on his lower lip for a long time.

The station did not identify the author of the altered video, but indicated it was an editor.

“This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light,” Q13 news director Erica Hill said in a statement issued today.

In a separate statement, Hill said, “We’ve completed our investigation into this incident and determined that the actions were the result of an individual editor whose employment has been terminated.”

A side-by-side comparison video was posted by MyNorthwest.com to demonstrate what aired live on CNN and the Q13 clip. Watch it above.
