Donald Trump Advises Students To “Go Over, Go Around, Go Through” Any Walls

Comedy Central’s The Daily Show and host Trevor Noah reached back into history to find a clip of President Trump telling students how to deal with a wall.

No, not the Wall that Congress and President Trump are currently battling over. Instead, this wall was metaphorical, a part of Trump’s 2004 Wagner College graduation speech. The Staten Island, NY school gave the then-reality TV star an honorary doctorate in humane letters, and Trump delivered some inspiration to the graduates after receiving the degree.

“Never, ever give up. Don’t give up. Don’t allow it to happen. If there’s a concrete wall in front of you, go through it. Go over it. Go around it. But get to the other side of that wall.”
