Authentic Entertainment today promoted Sara Reddy to EVP Current Programming. Reddy — whose credits include Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Toddlers and Tiara — has worked for the Endemol Shine-owned production company off and on since 2007, most recently serving overseeing development.
The company behind such unscripted fare as Flipping Out and Trading Spaces today also announced the promotions of Brian Pargac to VP Development and Adriana Garcia to Director of Development. The moves are the first made by Authentic president Helga Eike since she joined the company in the summer.
“Authentic has always been a place that cultivates and promotes home-grown talent,” Eike said. “Sara, Brian, and Adriana have all put in the hours and proven themselves tremendously gifted as storytellers and executives. Sara’s deft touch with characters, Brian’s innate sense of story, and Adriana’s out-of-the-box approach to content put them at the top of their game.”
As an EP, Reddy has produced hundreds of hours of content for networks including TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, A&E, MTV, VH1, Showtime, ABC and CBS. Most recently she led the development of the newly announced CNBC series Listing Impossible.
Pargac joined Authentic in 2013 and formerly was co-EP on Bravo’s Flipping Out. He has also served as a producer on such series Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, The Real Housewives of Dallas and Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay. Garcia has produced such series as Waterfront House Hunting., My First Home and Authentic’s digital show Breaking Bass.
