It’s already a busy Saturday online for President Donald Trump. There’s a cabinet change and a roundup of the usual suspects going on, and it’s not even noon in Washington, DC.
The Commander-in-Tweet’s online day started at 6:14, with the announcement that Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke would be leaving the administration by the end of the year. The move was not unexpected, as Zinke has been under fire. The President followed up with a tweet promising to name Zinke’s successor next week.
The second big tweet of the day came a few minutes later, when the President took out the hammer against his eternal nemesis, the press. Having already played Grinch by cancelling the White House Christmas party, the President was irate at the continuing flow of bad press, which he claimed was focused on the wrong story, not the REAL story on “Russia, Clinton & the DNC.” Those items, he claimed “seldom get reported. Too bad!”
