Peter Binazeski, who worked in publicity at Amazon Studios for the past five and a half years, has left the company to become Head of Communications for Tubi TV. Yesterday was his last day at Amazon.

Binazeski joined Amazon in 2013, just a few months before the premiere of the Studios’ first series Alpha House and Betas. During his tenure he launched the Studios’ Los Angeles-based PR team and handled trade communications and PR efforts for some of the Studios’ most critically-acclaimed shows, including Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle, Catastrophe and Fleabag, among others. During that time, Amazon Studios garnered seven Golden Globe Awards including two for Transparent (Best Comedy Series and Best Actor for Jeffrey Tambor, and two for Mozart in the Jungle (Best Comedy Series and Best Actor for Gael Garcia Bernal), along with numerous Emmy Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, and a Peabody Award among other honors.

Prior to Amazon, Binazeski served as VP of PR at Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, where he was behind the PR campaign for the Veronica Mars movie Kickstarter effort.
